Is insurance included in the price?
Third-party liability insurance is included in all rentals as required by Sri Lankan law. We recommend you also carry comprehensive personal travel insurance.
Is fuel included?
Fuel is not included. You pay for fuel as you go. Tuk tuks are very fuel-efficient — averaging 40–50 km per liter. Petrol stations are widely available.
What is the driver's license requirement?
Your home country driver's license or an International Driving Permit (IDP) is accepted. Some nationalities may need a temporary Sri Lankan license. We'll guide you.
Is roadside assistance included?
We provide 24/7 WhatsApp support for any issues. The Adventure Package includes an emergency toolkit. We also have a network of mechanics we can call on your behalf.
Is there a security deposit?
A refundable security deposit is required at pickup. This is returned in full when the tuk tuk is returned in its original condition.
Can I pay in USD, EUR, or GBP?
We accept USD, EUR, GBP, and Sri Lankan Rupees. Payment can be made in cash at pickup. Contact us to discuss payment options.
